My name is Sonia and I’m a seasoned marketeer, tireless seeker of knowledge and purveyor of brand magic. A graduate in Business Management, I began my marketing career in the IT and medical device industries where my creative skills (and attention to detail) were nurtured and put to the test.

I have since enjoyed the past ten years living and breathing (and occasionally cooking with) kitchen gadgets and housewares in the world of retail distribution. My finest accolades include “surviving” the annual 250 page catalogue, getting product on to a popular British TV baking competition, “giving birth” to such characters as ‘George Zest’ the lemon zester, ‘Mick Jug-ger’ and the ‘Practical Yolker’ egg separator, as well as launching the industry’s first online trade ordering facility.

My years within housewares and retail distribution were, quite frankly, some of the most exciting, exhausting and rewarding years of my life. They have not only inspired my passion for product, and a thrill for PR and social media, but they have also furnished me with valuable insight into the world of business, retail and distribution.
